Alternative Selections
Forwarding of Remains to Another Funeral Home
$2,950Our charge for this service includes local transfer of remains to our funeral home (within 15 mi radius) embalming, basic services of Funeral director and staff and preparation of necessary permits. This charge does not include a shipping container, viewing, ceremony, long distance ground transportation or mileage to an airport or the actual airline shipping charges.
Receiving of Casketed Remains From Another Funeral Home
$2,195Our charge for this service includes basic service of funeral director and staff, safekeeping of the body. This charge does not include funeral or burial merchandise, viewing, funeral or graveside services, newspaper obituaries, long distance transportation from an airport or funeral home, flowers, cemetery spaces, grave opening & closing or clergy or music honoraria.
Receiving of Cremated Remains from Another Funeral Home or Crematory or from the Family of the Deceased
$450Our charge for this service includes necessary services of funeral director and staff, a proportionate share of over-head costs, temporary shelter and care of the cremated remains, and local transportation to the place of final disposition. This charge does not include visitation in our facilities, graveside or funeral ceremonies in our facilities, grave opening, Clergy honoraria, obituaries or any memorial merchandise.
Immediate Burial without Ceremony (Without Embalming)
$4,495Our charge for this service includes local transfer of remains to funeral home, basic services of funeral director and staff, necessary permits and transfer to a local cemetery (within a 15-mile radius). Funeral Home will provide minimum casket or container as well as required grave liner (box). Purchaser must pay grave opening fees. No visitation/viewing, funeral services or graveside services are provided with this option. (Add $875.00 for embalming, if desired)
Body Donation for Medical Research (With Local Embalming)
$2,800Our charge for this service includes transfer of the remains to the funeral home as required at time of death and a proportionate share of over-head costs. This charge includes necessary permits, NOTE: Prior acceptance of the remains. by the medical facility will be required BEFORE transport to a medical school. This charge does not include visitation rites or ceremonies prior to the transportation of body to a medical school. These services are available for an additional charge.
NOTE: Most medical schools and anatomical facilities will require local embalming. Visitation and funeral services are encouraged prior to body bequeathal. Bequeathal following a full-service funeral and visitation, using one of our ceremonial caskets, will be $950.00 in addition to traditional service charges. We will answer any questions you may have regarding donations of the human body.
