MRS. BETTY JEAN STORCKMAN, AGE 91

Mrs. Betty Jean Storckman, age 91 of Robinson, IL passed away Sunday February 2, 2020 at 11:50 AM in the Hospice Center at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, IN.

Born May 27, 1928 in Murdock, IL she was the daughter of Jean A. and Margaret L. (Murdock) Albin.  On November 10, 1963 she married John H. “Jack” Storckman and he preceded her in death April 29, 2016.

Betty was a homemaker and mother of four children.  She was a member of the 1st Christian Church (Disciples), Robinson, IL where she was a Sunday School Teacher, a member of the church choir, taught bible school and was the chairwoman of CWM as well as a former deaconess.  She belonged to the Marathon Ladies Club, Senior Citizens’ Choir thru Lincoln Trail College and she and Jack were members of the Lincoln Trail Camping Club.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Michael L. and Sandi Huff, Ashburn, VA, Timothy E. and Kathy Huff, Mesa, AZ; daughters and sons-in-law, Ginger and Roger Beck, Hardinville, IL, Deborah J. Deel, Lafayette, IN; twelve grandchildren, twenty five great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren along with several nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John H. “Jack” Storckman; two grandchildren, Ryan Pinkston and Jonathan Deel and a brother, Bill Albin.

Funeral services will be Wednesday February 5, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL with Rev. T.R. Akers officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 PM until time of services at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.

Interment of the cremated remains will be in the Robinson New Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice with envelopes available at the funeral home.

I got to know Betty at church and remember her as always smiling and involved in activities. A dear lady. She will be greatly missed. So sorry for your loss.

Yo Betty's family- We are so sad to hear about Betty. Jeanine enjoyed being in church with them Jack was akways so nice and polite. And Betty singing in the choir made Jeanine happy. For she sag with her. Jeanine will miss her. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
