Mr. Francis V. “Frank” DeDoming, age 88 of Robinson, IL died Friday January 4, 2019 at 3:30 PM at Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Care, Robinson, IL.

Born September 3, 1930 in Swansea, MA the son of Elmer and Rose (Ouellette) DeDoming.  On June 4, 1962 he married Hazel (Knecht) and she survives.

Frank served in the U.S. Air Force for twenty years and served during the Korean War.  He moved to the Robinson area in 1964.  He later worked for Victor-Dana, Robinson, IL for seventeen and one-half years in quality control.  Frank was a member of the Porterville Congregational Christian Church, Porterville, IL; member of the E.M. Coulter Post #69, American Legion, Robinson, IL; a member and Trustee VFW Post #4549, Robinson, IL and a member of the Jasper County Amateur Radio Club.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel DeDoming, Robinson, IL; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Amy DeDoming, Robinson, IL; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy Alspach, Palestine, IL, Debra and Tony Koontz, Salisbury, NC, Michelle and Mark Brown, Robinson, IL; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren along with a niece, two nephews and cousins.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Danny DeDoming in 2009; one brother, Norman DeDoming, two sisters, Lorraine DeDoming and Faye Pelleigrini.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday January 9, 2019 at 6:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL with Pastor Billie Ray Ulrey officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 PM until time of service at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.  Military rites provided by E.M. Coulter Post #69 American Legion, VFW Post #4549 and AMVETS Post #33.  Private interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the VFW Transportation Fund or the VFW Honor Guard, 712 East Main Street, Robinson, IL with envelopes available at the funeral home.
