Amy “Louise” (Woods) Waggoner, age 86, of Robinson, IL, passed from this life on February 6, 2016 at Zionsville Meadows in Zionsville, IN.   Born in Murdock, IL on August 5, 1929 to James and Dortha (York) Woods, she married Martin G. “Red” Waggoner April 28, 1947 and he preceded her in death March 16, 2002. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a son Gerald “Gary” Waggoner December 9, 1992 and brothers George, Roy, Grant, Jim Jr; and sisters, Helen Parkhill and Arlene Davis.

She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Waggoner of Zionsville, IN, grandsons Cody Waggoner and Brian and Val Weck of Robinson, IL; great granddaughters Madi and Lauren Waggoner and Harper, Landry and great grandson Mason Weck, all of Robinson, IL; Sisters: Charlene Boelt of Hammond, IN and Billie (Bill) Cox of Oblong, IL; a daughter-in-law Nancy Waggoner of Robinson, IL, a sister-in-law Priscilla Woods, Springfield, IL and several nieces and nephews.

Louise lived in Crawford County most of her life, where she enjoyed painting, cooking, gardening, and sewing. The past few years she has resided in Zionsville, IN close to her daughter, so that Elaine could oversee Louise's care. She was a member of Highland Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school for many years, and was also treasurer of the Mission Committee. She worked as a cook in restaurants and the high school in Robinson for many years.

A time of visitation for friends and family will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Saturday February 13, 2016 when a Celebration of Life Service for Louise will be conducted by Pastor Bob Ash at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL. Private family burial services will follow the Celebration of Life Service at Hardinville Cemetery, Hardinville, IL. Memorial contributions to honor Louise’s memory may be made to the Oblong Children’s Christian Home, 4094 E. 1050th Ave, Oblong, IL 62449 with envelopes available at the funeral home.
