Mrs. Delores M. Glover, age 80, of Robinson, IL and formerly of Sea Tac, WA (Seattle), died Tuesday December 17, 2013 at 4:30 PM at Heritage Health Care (Cotillion Ridge) Nursing Home, Robinson, IL, following many months of serious health concerns.

Born January 1, 1933 in Red Cloud, Nebraska, she was the daughter of Ray and Ruth (Baker) Houghtaling.  Delores’s first husband, George Sheperd preceded her in death as did her second husband, Richard Glover.  She married Don Miller and they divorced.  Mrs. Glover was a member of the Hotel and Restaurant Employees Union Local 8, Seattle, Washington and served in many capacities in the Hotel Motel Complex in Seattle Washington, primarily with the Red Lion Hotel Chain.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Greg Markello, Robinson, IL, with whom she made her home for the last several months prior to entering the nursing home.  Brother and spouse, Ron and Jan Houghtaling, Issaquah, WA; sister, Donna Jones, Merrillville, IN; six grandchildren, Amy Glover; Andrew Glover; Chad Glover; Joel Glover; Jeremy Markello; Candace Markello; three great-grandchildren, Maci Markello; Garrrett Markello and Jeremy John Markello II.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, George Sheperd and Richard Glover; a son Rich Glover in 2004; a daughter Charlene Shepherd; brothers, Bob and Allen Houghtaling and sisters, Shirley Houghtaling and Virginia Colson.

Twilight Funeral Service will be Monday December 23, 2013 at 7:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL, with Rev. Tiffany Black officiating.  Visitation will be Monday December 23, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.  It was Mrs. Glover’s wish to be cremated and her cremated remains to be scattered in the state of Washington.

Memorial donations may be made to the United Way of the Wabash Valley with envelopes available at the funeral home.

Peggy im so sorry about ur mother she was a wonderful woman. Missed by so many. I loved her like she was my own family i got really close to her while i was taken care of her juat wanted you to know that ur mom was truley amazing. Prayers to u and ur family threw this hard time. Shes gods angel now.
