Life Legacy

Mrs. Sheryl M. Culp, age 66, Robinson, Illinois, died Friday November 4, 2011 at her residence in Robinson, Illinois, following a brief struggle with pancreatic cancer. . She was born September 22, 1945 in Greenup, Illinois, the daughter of Wood R. and Elsie Mae (Fain) Grissom. On August 22, 1964 she married Leland O'Neil Culp and he survives. Sheryl worked as a Teller for the First Financial Bank, Robinson, Illinois, and for L.S. Heath and Sons Candy Plant, Robinson, Illinois. She was a member of the Porterville Congregational Christian Church, Porterville, Illinois and attended the Oblong Evangelical United Methodist Church, Oblong, Illinois.

Survivors include her husband, Leland O'Neil Culp, Robinson, Illinois; a daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Walter "Skinner" Ahlbrand, St. Paul, Minnesota; brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Debra Grissom, Robinson, Illinois; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Charles Siler, Flat Rock, Illinois; sister, Ms. Connie Keyes, Vincennes, Indiana; sisters-in-law and spouse, Rosalee Culp, Palestine, Illinois, Ava Seaney, Robinson, Illinois, Treva and Ray Baud, Robinson, Illinois, Mary and Doug Wood, Milstadt, Illinois, Fran and Mike Dorn, Robinson, Illinois; brothers-in-law and spouses, Cleone and Hazel Culp, Willow Hill, Illinois, Dee and Jeanette Culp, Robinson, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son Richard Culp in 1993.

Funeral services will be Tuesday November 8, 2011 at 10:30 am at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, Illinois, with Rev. Howard Bell and Rev. Jack Kilburn officiating. Visitation will be Monday November 7, 2011 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IIllinois. Burial will be in the Olive Branch Cemetery, Annapolis, Illinois. Memorial donations may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice, Vincennes, Indiana or St. Judes Hospital for Children with envelopes available at the funeral home.
