|Ann, I didn't have your dad as a teacher in school. But I got to know him better through you. I loved it when you would tell me that I made him laugh! Thank you for sharing hm with me. Love you.|

|Mr. Kirts was a wonderful teacher and friend. He was also just a really great person. We always had so much fun with he and Mr Bayless on Halloween, trying to get close enough to TP them, often attacking from the corn field across the road from their house. Several times they would be found on the roof as if preparing for the drive of the Alamo. I was blessed to be able to visit with him again in 2018 at the “Class if 68” 50th reunion. He was still sharp as ever. He was one of those that if he had lived to be 200 years old, he would always be
“MR KIRTS” to me. I wish we had more teachers like him today. My prayers go out for all his family.

|Ann and Mark
I have so many fond memories of your Dad in the classroom, at Church and from the times I spent on Division Street with Laura Bayless. Mr. Kirts sparked my interest in chemistry - he was such a caring teacher. Prayers and hugs to you and your family.
