MRS. BARBARA ANN LITTLEJOHN, AGE 88

Mrs. Barbara Ann Littlejohn, age 88 of Robinson, IL passed away Tuesday August 27, 2019 at 8:30 PM at Ridgeview Care Center, Oblong, IL following many months of failing health.

Born August 9, 1931 in Newton, IL she was the daughter of John and Zella (Burt) Beverlin.  In May of 1949, Barbara graduated Newton High School and on February 25, 1950 she married A. Edward Littlejohn and he survives.

Mrs. Littlejohn worked for Robinson Manufacturing (Ettlebrick Shoe Factory) for nearly thirty years and then went to work as Produce Manager for Brock’s Food Town in Palestine, IL.  Being a tireless worker, in later years, with her husband Ed, owned and operated The Butcher Block in Robinson, all while raising two daughters and several grandchildren.  She was a member of the Highland Church of Christ, Robinson, IL.

Survivors include her husband, A. Edward Littlejohn, Robinson, IL; daughter and son-in-law Carol Sue and Scott Pulliam, Hutsonville, IL; son-in-law, Robert Henry, Palestine, IL; grandchildren, Kimberly K. White, Palestine, IL, Kerry A. and James Lathrop, Robinson, IL, Briget and Logan Yoder, Vincennes, IN, Bryan and Kaelyn Pulliam Marshall, IL; great grandchildren, Sierra Henry, Nathan White, Owen Lathrop, Reece Yoder, Lane Yoder and Baby Pulliam on the way; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Addie Jo Beverlin, Newton, IL along with several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a daughter, Deborah Henry in 2018; three brothers, Harry, Gene and Glenn Beverlin; four sisters, Hazel Beverlin, Marie Worthy, Beulah Fuson and Pauline French.

Funeral services will be Friday August 30, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL with pastor Shane Bopp officiating.  Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 PM until time of services at 4:00 PM at the funeral home.  Interment will follow funeral services in the Robinson New Cemetery, Robinson, IL.

In memory of Mrs. Littlejohn, memorial donations may be made to the New Hebron Christian School or to the Highland Church of Christ Building fund with envelopes available at the funeral home.

Dear Ed and Family, my condolences for your loss. Barbara was a treasure, and I shall never forget her. May GOD continue to hold all of you in His arms of comfort. I know Heaven is rejoicing to have Barbara with them in Paradise. We shall see her again.
