James Harold Boyd, age 100 of Robinson, IL passed away Friday May 31, 2019 at 12:26 PM at Arbor Rose in Robinson, IL following complications from a fall and hip fracture.

Born June 22, 1918 in Crawford County, IL the son of John V. and Myrl (Walters) Boyd.  On August 6, 1939 he married Wanda (Henry) and she preceded him in death April 13, 2015.

Harold was a long-term Crawford County Farm Bureau member.  He and Wanda were avid Square dancers for many years.  While he enjoyed traveling, he most enjoyed being with his family.  He was known for his “get up early” and “get the job done” attitudes and his sense of humor.  He was a member of the Prairie Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, A. Kent and Cindy Boyd, Palestine, IL; four grandchildren, Kelly Elizabeth and Aaron Richart, Marion, IL, Karrie Lynn and Philip Jones, Fishers, IN, Lindsay Ann and Ryan McKay, Fishers, IN, Jenna Elizabeth and Jason Silvey, Greenfield, IN; four great grandchildren, Mattingly Richart, Kaleb Richart, John Silvey and Jack McKay; a brother and sister-in-law, Ward and Deloris Boyd, Robinson, IL and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Wanda L. Boyd, April 13, 2015; an infant son, Harold Keith Boyd; a brother and sister-in-law, Loyal and Audrey Boyd.

The funeral service will be Wednesday June 5, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL with Bro. Joe Griffith officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday June 4, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM and one hour preceding the funeral services on Wednesday at Pulliam Funeral Home in Robinson, IL.

Memorial donations may be made to the Crawford County 4-H Foundation with envelopes available at the funeral home.
