Mr. Randal “Pete” Napier, age 89 of Annapolis, IL passed away Wednesday May 8, 2019 at 4:00 AM at his home in Annapolis, IL following a long period of declining health.

Born September 12, 1929 in Palestine, IL he was the son of LeRoy Lee “Buzz” and Bona Edith (Francis) Napier.  On July 1, 1959 he married Patsy Edyth (Murphy) and she preceded him in death July 23, 2009.

Pete worked with his brother, Rondell “Bum” Napier at Napier’s Garage in Annapolis, IL as a Body Man and a Mechanic.  Pete loved hunting and fishing and was an avid outdoorsman.  His favorite car was his beloved 1976 El Camino, which he has kept for all these years.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Debra Napier, Lemont, IL; Randy and Amy Napier, Annapolis, IL; daughters and son-in-law, Coleen and Paul Roach, Annapolis, IL, Kim Trimble, Annapolis, IL, Peggy Smith, Annapolis, IL; thirteen grandchildren, Penny Robinson, Cindy Starks, Nicklaus Napier, Sloane Napier, Nikki Sturm, Scott Dennis, Shiloh Parker, Kristen Roach, Petie Napier, Stormy Napier, Myranda Napier, Kaycee Williams and Britney Blessing; thirteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Jo Higgins, Tuscola, IL; several nieces, nephews and cousins along with so many friends.

Preceding Pete in death were his parents; his beloved wife, Patsy Edyth Napier; brother and sister-in-law, Rondell D. “Bum” Napier, May 7, 2017 and Iola Elaine Napier, April 19, 2017.

The funeral service will be Monday May 13, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL with Bro. Randy Nave officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday May 12, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL.  Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, rural Annapolis, IL.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society with envelopes available at the funeral home.

Rick, Randy, Coleen, Kim, Peggy & families ---- So sorry for your loss. Treasure all your fun memories. I remember lots of laughter at Napier's Garage when I was there with Daddy.
