Mr. Marvin Lee Langley, age 84 of Robinson, IL died Tuesday December 18, 2018 at 10:11 AM in the care of Hospice at the home of sister-in-law and caregiver, Ginni Langley, rural Robinson, IL.

Born January 12, 1934 in Lincoln, IL (Logan County) he was the son of Everett Ceward and Myrtle Dee (Eskridge) Langley-Chavez.  On January 23, 1952 he married Wanda Lucille (Charron) and she preceded him in death December 20, 2014.

Marvin was a Shop foreman for 17 years for the Crawford County Highway Department, Crawford County, IL and was a volunteer fireman since 1970, a Charter member of the Crawford County Rescue Squad, and a member of the E.M. Coulter Post #69, American Legion, Robinson, IL.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick Langley, Kokomo, IN, Michael and Jana Langley, Walnut Ridge, AR; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Ralph Osborn, Robinson, IL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Patrick Langley, Robinson, IL, Phillip and Gwen Langley, Atlanta, GA, Harold Langley, Destin, FL; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Esther Stanford, Destin, FL, Mary Jo Brown, Destin, FL and Julie Waldrop, Robinson, IL along with many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Wanda Lucille Langley; brothers, Murrel Langley, Joseph Langley, Fred Langley, F. Daniel “Danny” Langley and a sister, Clara Langley

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday December 22, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL with Pastor Leland Culp officiating.  Visitation will be Friday December 21, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL.  Burial will be in the Robinson New Cemetery, Robinson, IL.

Memorial donations may be made to the Crawford County Rescue Squad or Robinson Volunteer Fire Department with envelopes available at the funeral home.

Military graveside rites to be provided by the combined units of E.M. Coulter Post #69, American Legion, VFW Post #4549 and AMVETS Post #33.

Fly high uncle Marvin as you make your Heavenly Travel to join aunt Wanda and many others who are missed on earth. Prayers for guidence and strength for your loved ones whose heart are heavy, yet filled with many great memories and filled with great love......they will miss you so but can rejoice in the fact you have made it to your final destination and have gained your wings.
