Mr. Donald W. Osborn, 90, lifelong resident of Robinson, IL., died unexpectedly Friday April 27, 2018 at his home in Robinson, IL., following several months of declining health.

Mr. Osborn was a supervisor in the casting department of Briggs Plumbingware until his retirement in 1991. He was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Robinson and served on the finance committee for several years. Besides his church membership, Don was 50-year member of AF & AM 250 Robinson Masonic Lodge and a member of the B. P. O. Elks Lodge # 1188 in Robinson.

Don served his country with distinction in the United States Army in 1946 and 1947. In May of 1947, Don was united in marriage with Delores L. (Brush) and they had celebrated 46 years together when Delores died on April 5, 1993. Don then married Harriet (Rosborough) Harbison who died January 7, 2005.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Linda and Ed Reis, Robinson, IL; a Brother and spouse James “Jim” & Bebe Osborn, Ft. Myers, FL a sister-in-law and husband Donna & Bill Swaner, Robinson, IL; grandchildren Chris & Megan Reis, Cape Girardeau, MO; Tim & Erin Reis, Raleigh, NC; Angela “Angie” & Clark Myers, Robinson, IL; ten great grandchildren as well as step children and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Donald W. Osborn will be conducted Tuesday May 1, 2018 at Pulliam Funeral Home in Robinson, IL with Pastor Judy Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until time of services at 1:00 pm at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Robinson Food Pantry % The Otterbein United Methodist Church, 601 E. Pine St., Robinson, IL.  62454.

My sincere condolences to Linda and Ed Reis and the rest of the family. What a wonderful man, Don was. Paradise is no doubt rejoicing the return of one of the LORD's favorite. My love especially to you Linda in the temporary loss of your dad. We shall see him again.
