Mr. Bobby B. Higgins, age 82,of Robinson, IL, died Saturday September 16, 2017 at 3:42 PM at his residence following several months of failing health.

Born August 23, 1935 in Birds, IL he was the son of Earl Chancey and Eva Ruth (Pinkstaff) Higgins.  On November 6, 1954, he married Loretta Lee (Lingafelter) and she survives.

Bobby served in the US Air Force, retiring after twenty-two years of service.  He worked for B & H Oilfield service for eight years and was a Custodian and Teachers Aide at the Robinson High School, Robinson, IL for five years. Bobby was a member and former Elder of the Robinson Church of Christ, Robinson, IL and a member of the VFW Post #4549, Robinson, IL.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta L. Higgins, Robinson, IL; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark D. and Betty Higgins, Moline, IL, Bruce Lee and Cindy Higgins, Robinson, IL, daughter-in-law, Rita Higgins, Flat Rock, IL; four grandchildren, Matthew Higgins, Ronald Higgins, Kristina Wirey and Barbara J. Higgins; four great-grandchildren, Logan, Kolton, Memphis and Emily; a brother, Jackie R. Higgins, Bettendorf, IA; sister-in-law, Betty Jo Higgins, Tuscola, IL; brother-in-law, John Baud, Stoy, IL along with several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Douglas G. Higgins; a brother, Billy Gene Higgins and sisters, Marjorie Baud and Mary Wilson.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday September 20, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL, with Raymond Warfel officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday September 19, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL.  Interment will follow funeral services in Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine, IL.  Full military rites will be provided by VFW Post #4549, E.M. Coulter Post #69, American Legion and Marine Corps League #546.

Memorial donations may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice in care of Good Samaritan Hospital, 520 South 7th Street, Vincennes, IN 47591, with envelopes available at the funeral home.

Hello Jack, I am sorry to hear about the loss of your brother. I know it's hard to lose siblings. I have lost 2 brothers, Rick and Dave, and 1 sister, Sally. My thoughts are with you and the family.
