Maralee and family, So sorry to hear of he loss of such a caring person and Im sure a great mother. Mrs. Musgrave as I knew her was always one of my favorite teachers. Through the years I have kept in touch with her on facebook and shared recipes. I also told her one time how much she influenced me in my later life after graduating to cook and the love for cooking and entertaining people. Thanked her for the time she always spent with the students trying to make the world a better place. She will truly be missed by many. I will pray for you Maralee and your family at this time of grief.

To Marilyn's family,
You were all so blessed to have such a beautiful lady in your lives. We were brides of three months together at EIU ..but at least Marilyn knew how to cook!
We all went our various ways after graduation, but Marilyn and I renewed our friendship when my husband moved his practice from Chicago back to his roots in Crawford County. We shared many memorable times together socially and in Sorosis Club where she will be truly misssed.
Marilyn always met her many challenges with a smile and an absolutely amazing attitude. You must all be so proud of her. I know I am.
I regret that I will be unable to attend tomorrow's services but please know that you are in my thoughts and my prayers as you celebrate and honor a most special lady. I will think of you often, Marilyn, and with the utmost admiration for your courage and your "grit".
Blessings to all, Marie Douglas

I remember Marilyn with great respect. A loving and caring person and a wonderful teacher. She and Dave invited many bank employees into their home and were so gracious. God bless her lovely family and friends and may she rest in Peace - Heaven will be a better place - God Speed.
