Mrs. Margaret L. “Louise” Garrard, age 83 of Robinson, IL, died Saturday April 1, 2017 at 11:57 PM at Heritage Health and Rehab in Robinson, IL, following several months of failing health.

Born January 22, 1934 in Grayson County, Kentucky she was the daughter of Russell E. and Elsie D. (Payton) Wilson.  She married Robert Ray Depew and he preceded her in death.  On May 11, 1968 she married Ralph W. Garrard and he preceded her in death Jan. 28, 2011.  Margaret was a former Beautician, having graduated from Vincennes Beauty School at the top of her class; she was retired from Fair-Rite Products, Flat Rock, IL.  She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Christian Church, Lawrence County, IL and former President of AMVETS Auxiliary.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Donna R. and Danny Green, Flat Rock, IL; Beverly J. and Charles Bledsoe, Charleston, IL; Ms. Cynthia Depew, Grayville, IL; six grandchildren, Holly and Tim Breeden, Olney, IL; Derek and Tiffany Dunlap, Flat Rock, IL; C.D. Dunlap, Flat Rock, IL; Eric Dunlap, St. Francisville, IL; Alan Carter, Mattoon, IL; Deneise and Kenneth Meadows, Annapolis, IL and a brother, Richard Wilson, Oblong, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ralph W. Garrard.

There will be a Graveside service held on Wednesday April 5, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at the Robinson New Cemetery, Robinson, IL with Bro. Philip Young officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL.  

Memorial donations may be made to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice with envelopes available at the funeral home.

Donna: I so sorry to hear of your mother's passing.

May God give you comfort in this time of sorrow. God is always there to help you through each day. It is always difficult to say Good bye.
