Mrs. Wilma J. “Jean” Dedrick, age 88, of Robinson, IL, died Wednesday December 7, 2016 at 10:05 PM at Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Care, Robinson, IL, following many months of failing health.

Born August 31, 1928 in Robinson, IL, she was the daughter of George and Goldie (Hanley) Gullett.  On July 27, 1947 she married Richard L. Dedrick and he preceded her in death one week ago on November 30, 2016.

Jean was a homemaker and a member of the AmVets Auxiliary Post #33, Palestine, IL.  She enjoyed participating in the Reenactment group, Crawford County Black Powder Club and camping with friends at Wilderness Lake Campground.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Gregory Wayne and Debbie Dedrick Sr., Palestine, IL; a daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Kenneth Cardwell, Sioux City, IA; seven grandchildren, Greg and Michelle Dedrick Jr., Palestine, IL; Jason and Hallie Dedrick, Fairview, TN; Matthew and Holly Cardwell, West Point, NE; Laurie and Tim Hendricks, Sioux City, IA; Jessica and Nathan Springfield, Sioux City, IA; Christopher W. Dedrick, Hutsonville, IL; Michelle and Bill  Plew, Hutsonville, IL; eighteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry K. and Rhonda Gullett, Robinson, IL; Byron and Judy Gullett, Robinson, IL along with several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Richard L. Dedrick; a sister, Kathryn Wampler and a brother, Robert Gullett.

Funeral service will be Saturday December 10, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL, with Rev. T.R. Akers officiating.  Visitation will be Saturday December 10, 2016 from11:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM.  Burial will be in the Robinson New Cemetery, Robinson, IL.  

Memorial donations may be made to the Robinson Food Pantry or the Ark of the Covenant Soup Kitchen with envelopes available at the funeral home.
