Mr. Clyde H. Kingery Jr., age 82, of Robinson, IL, died Tuesday May 17, 2016 at 1:10 PM in the Emergency Room of Paris Community Hospital, Paris, IL, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident Tuesday morning.

Born May 3, 1934 in Martin Township, Crawford County, IL the son of Clyde Harvey Kingery Sr. and Eva Mae (Good) Kingery.  On August 29, 1954 he married Mary Marlene (Darnold).

Clyde served in the US Army in Korea.  He was a farmer and owner operator of Kingery Sawmill; was a member of the E.M. Coulter Post #69, Robinson, IL; member VFW Post #4549, Robinson, IL; member Zion United Methodist Church, Robinson, IL and was instrumental in the startup and founding of the Hardinville Water Company, a rural water company that now serves over 1250 customers.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Jevell and Phillip Chapman, Willow Hill, IL; two grandsons, Lantz Shidler, Robinson, IL; Lucas and Jami Shidler, Flat Rock, IL; two great grandsons, Clayton Scott Shidler; Brayden Shidler and one on the way; a step-granddaughter, Jolie Chapman, Toledo, IL; a step great-grand son, Vincent Meinhart and a special niece, Janet York who made her home with the Kingerys during her high school years, as well as several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Mary Marlene Kingery; a brother, Victor “Vic” Kingery, 2013; an infant brother, Gary; an infant sister, Linda; sister, Evelyn (Kingery) Millsap; son-in-law, Scott Shidler, 2007; a nephew Greg Kingery.

Funeral service will be Monday May 23, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL, with Pastor Jeff Brinkman officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday May 22, 2016 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL.  Burial will be in the Hardinville Cemetery, Hardinville, IL.

Memorial donations may be made to the Great Grandchildren’s Education Fund at First Robinson Savings Bank, Robinson, IL, with envelopes available at the funeral home.

Jevell and family I am so sorry to hear of you loss of your parents. They were a special couple to anyone that had the opportunity to know them. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

I'd like to offer my condolences to the Kingery families.
I never got to meet Clyde, but he was my second cousin. His mom was my great Aunt Eva May Good Kingery.
May God bless you all in this great loss to the family.
My prayers are with you all.
