Pauline Leffler, age 88, Willow Hill, IL, passed away Wednesday September 30, 2015 at Ridgeview Care Center in Oblong, IL.
Pauline was born on February 14, 1927 in Crawford County, IL north of Oblong, IL. She was the daughter of William Henry “Willie” Weck and Edith (Mann) Weck. On June 28, 1950 she married Clarence G. Leffler and they were married for 65 years.
Pauline was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and doted on her precious great grandchildren as well a homemaker. She was a member of Mound Community Church, enjoyed flowers, gospel music, knick knacks, stuffed animals and she enjoyed collecting salt and pepper sakers.

Pauline is survived by her husband Clarence Leffler of Willow Hill, IL; four children and their spouses Linda and Gary Chapman, Casey, IL; Daniel and Anna Leffler, Willow Hill, IL; Judy and Brian Neer, Lawrenceville, IL; and Gary Leffler, Oblong, IL; 7 grandchildren Stacey Inboden, Lawrenceville, IL; Dusty Inboden Harrison and husband Jake Harrison, Bridgeport, IL; Stephanie Leffler, Casey, IL; Mary Leffler, Casey, IL;  Daniel and Laura Leffler II, Willow Hill, IL; David and Desiree Leffler, Paris, IL; and Matthew Chapman, Casey, IL; 6 great –grandchildren; 2 brothers, Roy and Jo Weck, Oblong, IL and Robert Weck, Robinson, IL; 3 sisters Betty Bond, Oblong, IL; Karen and Bob Diekmann, Rapid City, SD and Carol and John Heesen, Baraboo, WI; several nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law John and Elsie Leffler.

Pauline is preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Larry Joe Leffler; an infant granddaughter, Dorothy Leffler; 3 sisters, Marjorie Jourdan, Maxine Weck, and Ethel Baker and two brothers, Donald Weck and Bill Weck.

Celebration of Pauline’s Life will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday October 4, 2015 at the Pulliam Funeral Home in Oblong, IL, with Bro. Bill Ikemire officiating. Burial will follow in the Mound Cemetery in Jasper County, IL. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pulliam Funeral Home, Oblong, IL.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of a contribution to the Mound Cemetery or Mound Church. Envelopes will be at or may be mailed to Pulliam Funeral Home P.O. Box 121 Oblong, IL 61449.

I remember Pauline coming to visit my Mother, Mary Irene Weck Boa, in the mid 1970's. Mother always enjoyed her visits. RIP.
