Mrs. Rosalie R. Crampton, age 92, of Robinson, IL, died Monday September 14, 2015 at Ridgeview Care Center, Oblong, IL, following several years of failing health.

Born April 15, 1923 in Martin Township, Crawford County, IL, she was the daughter of Clayton T. and Minnie H. (Michener) Michael.  On July 21, 1946, she married Robert B. “Bob” Crampton, and he preceded her in death September 4, 2006.

Rosalie worked as a Bookkeeper for Tempco Products Company, Robinson, IL, for 23 years; was a homemaker and mother to two sons, and was a Cub-Scout Den Mother for eight or nine young boys in the mid 1950’s.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John B. and Debra Crampton, Latona, IL; brother and sister-in-law, Gary “Pete” and Phyllis Michael, Robinson, IL; sister, Betty Alexander, Newton, IL; brother-in-law, Noel Ikemire, Newton, IL; two grandchildren, John A. and Jennifer Crampton, Robinson, IL; Cord Byron Crampton, Robinson, IL; three great-grandchildren, Jarrett Andrew, Chase Logan, Bryce Michael Crampton, Jackson Harmon, Andrew J. Crampton, all of Robinson, IL, along with several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Robert B. “Bob” Crampton in 2006; a son, Robert Michael Crampton in 1985.

Graveside service will be Friday September 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Robinson New Cemetery, Robinson, IL, with Rev. T.R. Akers officiating.  There will be visitation one hour preceding services at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL.

Memorial donations may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children or the Charity of the Donor’s Choice, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
