Mrs. Erma J. Martin, age 84, of Robinson, IL, died Thursday October 16th, 2014 at 7:53 AM at the United Methodist Village, South Campus, Lawrenceville, IL, following a period of declining health.

Born August 6, 1930 in Stoy, IL, she was the daughter of James Walter and June Evelyn (Miller) Meese.  December 24, 1949 she married Dwight Francis and he preceded her in death March 1, 1981.  August 14, 1982 she married Harold O. Martin and he preceded her in death on June 24, 2013.  Erma was employed by the Victor-Dana Corporation, Robinson, IL.  She worked for Thordarsen Meisner Electronics, Robinson, IL and Robinson Manufacturing Corporation, (Ettlebrick Shoe Factory) in Robinson, IL.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Philip Montgomery, Robinson, IL; Diana and Brent Smitley, Robinson, IL; brothers and sisters-in-law, James W. and Glendeth Meese, Robinson, IL; LeRoy and Sue Meese, Green Valley, AZ; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Jerry Harmon, Oblong, IL; Shirley and Jack Harmon, Alhambra, IL; Linda and Harold Frauli, TX and Sandra Meese, Lafayette, IN.  Four grandchildren, Phillip Eric and Liz Montgomery; Donald Alexander and Liz Montgomery; Angie and Tom Pfeifer and Brian and Crystal Smitley; seven great-grandchildren, Kaela Montgomery Silvis, Kelsey Montgomery, Kyle Montgomery, Sarah Montgomery, Madison Montgomery, Skylar Maus, Joseph T. Pfiefer and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Dwight Eugene Francis in 1981; husband, Harold O. Martin in 2013.

Funeral service will be Sunday October 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL, with Bro. George Meese officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday October 19, 2014 from 12:00 Noon until time of service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, rural Annapolis, IL.
