My thoughts and prayers are with the family as you celebrate Carl's life. Even though it has been over 20 years since I was last in Illinois for a visit, I have great memories of times with cousins, aunts and uncles when we would visit in the summer. Blessings to all of you, Terry Sue

Sorry to see that Carl has passed away. He was a year older than my Dad and they were good friends. Carl would always go out of his way to speak to me whenever I would see him at the restaurant or around town.

Dear John, Carl, Bob and Families: I am so sorry to hear about your father's death. I will pray that you and yours get through this with the understanding that he is as he once was and with your mother once again in the best of places. You will see them again. God bless you and keep you.

Was saddened when I heard Carl had passed. He was such a sweet, sweet person that would always go out of his way to speak wherever we may have seen each other. We usually seen each other at the cafe in West Union. I know he was also a good Christian man and is resting in the arms of Jesus. Hugs to his family!

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss of an amazing man. I was glad to have gotten to know your parents when I was helping them awhile back. Carl and Dorothy has left me with some happy memories that make me smile when I think of them. From baking cookies with Dorothy to talking about stories from the war and sharing my cinnamon roll with Carl at the coffee shop. They'll be forever in my heart.
Sincerely, Christy and Ben Morgan
