Mr. F. Daniel “DAD” Langley, age 60, of Robinson, IL, died Saturday October 5, 2013 at 11:58 PM at his residence in Robinson, following a lengthy battle with cancer.  

Born March 24, 1953 in Lincoln, IL, he was the son of James Everett and Myrtle D. (Eskridge) Langley.  On July 3, 1972 he married Virginia E. “Ginni” Dennis and she survives.  He was retired from E.H. Baare Inc., as a Machine Set-up Specialist and Machine Operator and was a former member of Crawford County Sheriff’s Police Auxiliary.

Survivors include his wife, Ginni “MOM” Langley, Robinson, IL; sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel Shawn and Cameo Langley, Robinson, IL; Clifton Shane and Megan Langley, Robinson, IL; Jason Lee and Stacey Langley, Robinson, IL; Jeremy Wayne Langley, Robinson, IL; Anthony Dwayne and Brenda Langley, Robinson, IL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Pat and Hella Langley, Robinson, IL; Marvin and Wanda Langley, Robinson, IL; Phillip and Gwen Langley, Atlanta,  IL; Harold and Wanda Langley, Destin, FL; sisters & brothers-in-law, Esther and Charles Stanford, Destin, FL; Julia Waldrop, Robinson, IL; Mary Jo and Gerald Brown Crestview, FL; fifteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Fred Langley, Murrell Langley, Joseph Langley; sister, Clara Langley and brother-in-law, Ron Waldrop.

A Twilight Memorial Service will be held Wednesday October 9, 2013 at 7:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL, with Bro. Joe Griffith officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday October 9, 2013 from 5:00 PM until time of service of 7:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home in Robinson.  Cremated remains to be scattered in the Gulf of Mexico at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Lincolnland or Toys for Tots in care of the Robinson Fire Department with envelopes available at the funeral home.

Having already lost both of my parent, I know the loss is hard to understand and how your heart is broken. Know that I am praying for you all as you face the next few days. No words can express the loss ever - Megan and Stacey you are in my thoughts and prayers. if you need anything give me a call. Love you both. No matter how old you are losing a parent isn't easy -

Prayers going up for you and your family. Take time for yourself but remember you are not alone you have family and friends who wish to help, let them. Take all the time you need to get through the processes of healing.
