Mr. Don Dee Watts, age 89, of Robinson, Illinois, died Wednesday April 10, 2013 at the Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville, IN, following a brief period of declining health.

Born March 18, 1924 in Robinson, Illinois, he was the son of Carson and Lura (Boyd) Watts.  On July 5, 1945 he married Nina Fay (Green) and she survives.  Don was employed as a Compensation Specialist for Marathon Oil Company, Human Resource Manager (Personnel) for International Operations for 3 ½ years; served in the US Navy during WWII; was a member of the New Hebron Baptist Church and Crawford Post #4549, V.F.W.; E.M. Coulter Post #69, American Legion, Robinson, IL.

Survivors include his wife, Nina Fay Watts, Robinson, IL; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Dee and JoLynn Watts, Lake Orion, MI; two grandchildren, Christopher and Jennifer Watts, Lake Orion, MI; Melissa Brodine, Columbia, SC; three great-grandchildren, Matthew Spreen; Hannah Jane Brodine; Alder Brodine; brother and sister-in-law, James Ray and Marilyn Watts, Robinson, IL; sister, Roberta Richart, Robinson, IL and several nieces and nephews.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Harriet Watts; Ira and Marie Watts and brother Billie Watts.

Funeral service will be Saturday April 13, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL, with Bro. Jack Clay officiating.  Visitation will be Friday April 12, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home and Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of services at 10:30 AM.  Burial will be in the Robinson New Cemetery, Robinson, IL with Military Graveside Rites provided.

Memorial donations may be made to Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, IN or to the Charlier Hospice Center, Evansville, IN, with envelopes available at the funeral home.

I can't tell you how sad I am for the lose of Uncle Don. He was a wonderfully kind-hearted man. He will be missed.
