Mrs. Barbara Jo Jones, age 79, of Robinson, IL, died Wednesday December 29, 2010 at 6:48 am at her residence in Brookstone Estates, Robinson, IL, of natural causes. She was born April 3, 1931 in Union, Indiana, the daughter of Orvile Oties and Leota Lena (Tolbert) Peak. On July 17, 1948 she married Maxie G. Jones, and he survives. She was a Certified Nurse's Aide, Crawford Memorial Hospital, Long Term Care, Robinson, IL. Was a member of Westside Church of God, Robinson, IL; A.A.R.P., and previously a member of the Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her husband, Maxie; sons and daughter-in-law, Randy and Wanda Jones, Robinson, IL; son, Rick Jones, Effingham, IL; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Robert Fields, Lewisburg, PA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dwain and Connie Peak, Iberia, OH; Gary and Nancy Peak, Marshall, IL; Terry and Della Peak, Elkin, NC; sister and brothers-in-law, Beverly and Ron Fertig, Indianapolis, IN; brother-in-law, Jack Wells, Avon, IN; grandchildren, Doug Jones, Shannon and Jeremy Jones, Brandy Groves, Jessica Jones, Paige Ireland, Danielle Ireland, Angel and Tony Sanders, April and Jarrod Hale, cody Jones, Christy fields, Jennifer and Galan Reigel; seventeen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday January 2, 2011 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL, with the funeral service Monday January 3, 2011 at 10:30 am at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL, with Bro. Tom Woodson officiating. Burial will be in the Kirk Chapel Cemetery, rural Robinson, IL,

Memorial donations may be made to the Westside Church of God, Robinson, IL, or the Residents Activity Fund, Ridgeview Care Center, Oblong, IL.
