Life Legacy

Mrs. Rayetta A. Stoker, age 78, Robinson, Illinois, died Tuesday July 19, 2011 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Illinois, following an apparent stroke at her residence late Monday night.

Rayetta was born October 11, 1932 in Robinson, Illinois, the daughter of Raymond and Birdell (Corbin) Skidmore. She was married to Floyd G. Waldrop, and he preceded her in death in 1953. She then married Waylon T. Stoker, July 2, 1983 and he passed away April 9, 2011. She was employed by Victor Dana as a Cork Shear Operator for several years; and Owned and Operated Granny Stoker's Restaurant in Robinson, Illinois; attended Highland Avenue Church of Christ, Robinson, Illinois and was a member of Women of the Moose.

Survivors include her sons, Randall D. Waldrop, Cadiz, Kentucky, Floyd Douglas Waldrop, Robinson, Illinois; grandchildren, Desiree McDonald and Ryan Waldrop; great grandchild, Emilee Waldrop and cousins, Charlotte and Larry Sackrider, Oblong, Illinois. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands, Floyd G. Waldrop and Waylon T. Stoker; a grandson, Randall D. "Randy" Waldrop Jr.; a sister, Rosalee Weger and several Aunts and Uncles.

Funeral services will be Friday July 22, 2011 at 10:30 am at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, Illinois, with visitation Thursday July 21, 2011 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, Illinois. Burial will be in the Robinson New Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association with envelopes available at the funeral home.
