Life Legacy

Mrs. Vickie M. Myers, age 67 of Hutsonville, Illinois, died Sunday December 4, 2011 at her residence in Hutsonville, of natural causes.

She was born August 20, 1944 in Robinson, Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Velma (Jones) Schlosser. On April 7, 1962 she married James A. Myers and he preceded her in death on June 10, 2006. Vickie was retired from Hershey Chocolate Plant, Robinson, Illinois, after 36 years of employment with Heath and Hershey, where she worked on the Heath line as a packaging operator. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Palestine, Illinois and VFW Auxiliary, Robinson, Illinois.

Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Lisa and Morgan David, Robinson, Illinois, Janie and Fred Amstutz, Greenfield, Indiana; grandchildren, Travis David, Samantha David, Jessie Amstutz, Amanda Amstutz, Freddie Amstutz; great grandchildren, Victoria Marlene Gallegos and Bella Elizabeth Campbell; sisters and brother-in-law, Mrs. Patti Crouch, Hutsonville, Illinois, Mrs. Carolyn Matheney, Palestine, Illinois, Mrs. Geraldine Goff, Robinson, Illinois, Martha Jane Benton, Palestine, Illinois, Betty and Pat Karns, Palestine, Illinois; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, James A. Myers; brother, Robert "Bob" Schlosser; sister, Sandy Schlosser.

There will be visitation Tuesday December 6, 2011 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, Illinois with interment of cremated remains in Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Palestine Food Pantry, or Your Local Toys for Tots Organization or Breast Cancer Awarness, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
