Mrs. Dea Ann O'Dell, age 51, of Hutsonville, Illinois, formerly of Sullivan, Indiana, died Monday January 23, 2012 at 10:23 am at the Transplant Intensive Care Unit, Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis, Indiana following a brief illness. She was born April 3, 1960, the daughter of William L. Eaton Jr. and Linda Dea (Stierwalt) Eaton. On May 20, 2000 she married Sidney O'Dell, and he survives. Dea Ann was employed as a part time secretary for the Sullivan Daily times newspaper, Sullivan, Indiana; member of the Crossroads Community Church, Sullivan, Indiana; Illinois Patriot Guard Riders; Illinois Patriot Guard Riders; Honorary Member of American Legion Riders, Sullivan Legion Post #139, Sullivan, Indiana; former member Sullivan First Christian Church Choir for over 25 years and Terre Haute Choral Society for several seasons, serving as secretary on the board for at least two years. Member of National Ladies of Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.), Sullivan First Christian Church, former member and secretary of Sullivan County Emergency Management and a Vincennes University Alumni.

Survivors include her husband, Sidney O'Dell, Hutsonville, Illinois; her mother, Linda Eaton, Sullivan, Indiana; three brothers, Todd and Terri Eaton, Sullivan, Indiana, Scott and April Eaton, Lawrenceville, Illinois, Eric and Kristie Eaton, Terre Haute, Indiana; a half-sister, Darby Jo and Steve Harris, Terre Haute, Indiana; a step-daughter, Sara and Mike Wilson, Indianapolis, Indiana; a step-son, Paul O'Dell and his fiancee Peggy Deemer, Noblesville, Indiana; one granddaughter, Mara wilson, Indianapolis, Indiana; uncle, Larry and Pat Stierwalt, Apollo Beach, Florida; an aunt, Pat Eaton, Sellersburg, Indiana; two nieces, Erica Eaton and Taylor Eaton; two nephews, Nicholas Easton and Aidan Harris.

Funeral services will be Saturday January 28, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Pulliam Funeral Home, Hutsonville, Illinois with visitation from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, (Illinois Time) Friday January 27, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Johnson Cemetery, Graysville, Indiana. Memorial donations may be made to the Indiana or Illinois Patriot Guard Riders or American Legion Riders, Legion Post #139, Sullivan, Indiana.
