Life Legacy

Anita Rowene "Blondie" Clark, age 59, of Robinson, Illinois, died Monday February 20, 2012 at her residence in Robinson, Illinois, following an apparent stroke. Born January 25, 1953 in Watseka, Illinois, she was the daughter of Orlin and Frances M. (Vernia) Stephens. She married Richard Clark on March 20, 1975 and he preceded her in death December 16, 2008. Anita was employed as a Tow Motor Operator for T. J. Maxx Distribution Center in Evansville, Indiana; served in the U.S. Army from 1972 to 1974; member of the American Legion Post #69, Robinson, Illinois and was a Journalism Major at Vincennes University from 1991 to 1992.

Survivors include her Fiancee' Bryan Baker, Robinson, Illinois; daughters, Trissa Clark and Michael Triplett, Vincennes, Indiana, Cindy and Mike Clark, Old York, Illinois, step daughters, Kelley Baker, Oblong, Illinois, Jamie Jo Baker, Langley, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Anastasia Hammond, Hutsonville, Illinois, Madison Fettinger, Petersburg, Indiana, Cole Triplett and Brandon Triplett, Vincennes, Indiana; brother, Brian Stephens, Robinson, Illinois; sisters and brothers-in-law, Diane Jarrard, Springfield, Illinois, Vicki and Warren Pearce, Casey, Illinois, Terry and John Beecher, Terre Haute, Indiana, Kelly and Rodney Tuel, Oblong, Illinois along with several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents; a brother, Darrell Stephens; former spouse, Richard Clark.

Funeral services will be Saturday February 25, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, Illinois with visitation from noon until time of services at 2:00 pm. Military Rites at the funeral home provided by American Legion Post #69, Robinson, Illinois. There will be cremation with interment of cremated remains at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer society with envelopes available at the funeral home.
