Janet Sue Meadows, 63, of Willow Hill, IL went to join the lord from her home on October 11, 2012, after an unsuccessful fight against cancer.

She was born on March 20, 1949, to Orville & Dorothy (Robins) Milliman of West Liberty, IL.

Janet was a bus/van driver for the Oblong School District for 25 years and enjoyed horseback riding, camping, gardening and spending time with her family.

On February 10, 1968, she married Jeffrey Meadows of Willow Hill, IL at the West Liberty United Methodist Church in West Liberty, IL.

Surviving are; her parents Orville & Dorothy Milliman of West Liberty, IL; her husband Jeffrey Meadows of Willow Hill, IL; her children Tim Meadows of Oblong, IL, Kenneth & Deniese Meadows of Annapolis, IL, Chanda Budds of Lawrenceville, IL; her grandchildren,Dylan Meadows of Effingham, IL, MeKenna Meadows, Callie Meadows, both of Oblong, Coltyn Meadows of Annapolis, IL. Also surviving are 7 brothers & sisters; Sharon & Bob Saunders of Fennville, MI; Dale & Christene Milliman of West Liberty, IL; Beverly & Howard Tanner of Fairfield, IL; Sandra & Larry Goebel of Montrose, IL; Nancy & Tom Tarr of Newton, IL; Nick & Jody Milliman of Newton, IL; Richard & Terry Milliman of West Liberty, IL; along with several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her brother Orville Ray Milliman; father and mother-in-law Norman and Glendean Meadows; sister-in-law Donna Colleen Meadows.

The funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, October, 15, 2012, at the Pulliam Funeral Home,Oblong, Illinois with Bro. Rick Catt and Nick Milliman officiating. Burial will be in the Mound Cemetery, rural Jasper County, Illinois. Visitation is from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2012, and 8:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Oblong Children's Christian Home for the Equestrian Program.
