MRS. RUTH F. ARTMAN, AGE 94

Mrs. Ruth F. Artman, age 94 of Annapolis, IL passed away Saturday November 23, 2019 at 7:10 AM at the Magnolia Center, Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, IL following several months of failing health.

Born January 1, 1925 in Oblong, IL she was the daughter of Roy and Hazel (Hart) Fouty.  On January 29, 1944 she married Reid W. Artman and he preceded her in death July 17, 2008.

Ruth was a homemaker as well as having worked for Crawford Electronics in Robinson, IL for twenty-eight years as a Machine Operator and Coil Winder.  She was a member of the Annapolis Community Club, Annapolis, IL; Crawford County Home Extension, Annapolis, IL.  She also served on several election boards in Crawford County, IL.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca Lynn “Becky” Dunn, Peotone, IL; Beverly and Tom Artzberger, Annapolis, IL; five grandchildren, Terri and Mark Rick, Momence, IL, Aaron Dunn and Kathy Schroder, Park Forest, IL, Tony Dunn, Frankfort, IL, Renee and Jeff Pride, Salem, IL, Jason Rosenthal, Salem, IL; six great grandchildren, Adam Rick and Fiancée Patricia, Chris and Sarah Rick, Taylor and Oscar Thorson, Olivia Pride, Ethan Pride, Dylann Rosenthal; two great-great grandchildren, Dominic Reed and Isabella Rick.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Reid W. Artman; brothers, Clifford Fouty, Paul Fouty; a sister, Ruby Cherry; brother-in-law, Doyle Artman and son-in-law, Ronald Dunn.

The Funeral service will be held on Tuesday November 26, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL with Pastor Randy Nave officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL.  Burial will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, rural Annapolis, IL.

Memorial donations in memory of Mrs. Artman may be made to the Mount Pleasant Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund with envelopes available at the funeral home.
