MRS. M. MURIEL O’DELL, AGE 79

Mrs. M. Muriel O’Dell, age 79 of Stoy, IL, passed away Monday February 5, 2018 at 11:55 AM at Ridgeview Care Center, Oblong, IL, following several months of failing health.

Born July 30, 1938 in Robinson, IL, she was the daughter of Leonard E. and Martha Mae (York) Clark.  On January 30, 1954 she married Richard Wayne O’Dell and he preceded her in death August 31, 2010.

Muriel’s places of employment include Robinson Manufacturing – Ettlebrick Shoe Factory, Robinson, IL and Victor Dana, Robinson, IL, for 32 years until she retired in 2009.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Roger Wayne and Brenda O’Dell, Robinson, IL, Richard Todd and Sarah O’Dell, Robinson, IL; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Shawn York, Jodi Denton, Heather Rogers, Daniel O’Dell; five great grandchildren, Katerina Clouthier, Brayten Rogers, Twins, Krystnee and Krystlynn Rogers and Rychelle Rogers; a brother and sister-in-law, Leonard E. and Shirley Clark, Filmore, IN; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Pearl M. and Dr. Terry Schmidt, Robinson, IL, Alma Jean Weger, Arthur, IL along with several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Richard Wayne O’Dell and brother-in-law, Ronnie Weger.

A Funeral service will be held on Saturday February 10, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL, with Bro. Rick Catt officiating.  Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, IL.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital with envelopes available at the funeral home.
