MR. JAMES STEVEN “STEVE” ALLISON, AGE 61

Mr. James Steven “Steve” Allison, age 61 of Hutsonville, IL, died Friday August 18, 2017 at 5:57 AM at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, IL, following an apparent heart attack at his home.  

Born September 14, 1955 in Wichita, KS, he was the son of James Parmer and Mary Delores (Strole) Allison.  On May 15, 2015, he married Heather Davis and she survives.  He was employed with Ameren CIPS since 1974 and left in 1997 on long term disability.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Hutsonville, IL.  During his retirement, Steve loved to fish and was a commercial fisherman on the Wabash River.

Survivors include his wife, Heather Allison, Hutsonville, IL; mother, Mary Allison, Hutsonville, IL; a daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Earl Schoncheck, Hutsonville, IL; two grandchildren, Miranda Carpenter, Hutsonville, IL, Allison Wilson, Robinson, IL; two great-grandchildren, Miles Carpenter and Jack Carpenter, Robinson, IL.

Preceding him in death were his son, Shawn S. Allison; father, James P. Allison; grandparents, Harold and Mary Allison; and a sister Debra Allison.

There will be direct cremation with a Graveside Service in the Hutsonville Cemetery, Hutsonville, IL at a later date.

Heather so sorry for your loss. Please let us know if we can do anything, you both was there and helped us when we lost Dad. I bet they are both up there now fishing and talking and of course you know the kind of stories they are telling.
