My sincere condolences to the Hammond family on the loss of your beloved Vera. Losing someone you love is the most difficult thing a family will ever do. Our Heavenly Father knows the pain death brings and that is why at Revelation 21:3,4 God promises soon all pain, sickness and death will be eliminated. How comforting to know God not only has the power but the desire to reunite us with our loved ones by means of the resurrection hope Jesus spoke of at John 5:28,29. It is my hope that you find comfort in these scriptures and your beautiful memories of Vera.

May the family find comfort in loving memories, and in knowing that God is "close to those that are broken at heart; and he saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) Our loving Creator, Jehovah God, has promised to soon "swallow up death forever...and wipe the tears from all faces" (Isaiah 25:8). With deepest sympathy.
