Sorry to hear this. My only acquaintance with George was 50 years ago, when we both carried the Terre Haute newspapers and won a trip to Chicago for adding new customers. We were both young, but I remember George and the enjoyment we had on that trip with Mr. Dexter and 4 other carriers.
I am sure he will be missed by his family and friends.

I was so sorry to hear of George's passing. I have fond memories of him from my visits to Hutsonville and his visits to Maryland. I enjoyed all the times we spent together during our childhood. He was a great cousin and he will be deeply missed.

I knew George a little over four years when we graduated 8th grade and all three of our feeder schools graduated at Hutsonville High School in May of 1968. We had several classes in high school together, and he was always doing silly things to make us laugh. I remember him in the band. He was my escort our senior year at Homecoming. He and I were voted class "Apple Polishers" and had our photo taken with Mr. Leighty. It is always difficult to lose someone from our very small graduating Class of 1972 because we only had about thirty graduates. We had such a small class, we were pretty close with one another but our high school graduation separated many of us, and we have not seen each other since. I wish his children and siblings peace of mind by reassuring you that he is in a far better place walking and talking with God. He is reunited with family members and is preparing a place for you. Know that you will one day see each other again. Thanks, God, for giving us all the time to get to know George and be a part of his life even if it was a small portion of it. I am glad that I met George and that he was my friend and classmate.

I worked with George for several years at Gallo's. He was a great guy and turned out to be a good friend. No matter how tired I was, or how I dreaded going to work, I always knew that George would have me laughing not too long after I got there...He will be missed by many, I'm sure, and although I haven't seen him for several years, I will miss him too. Rest in Peace, George!

I just read that George passed away. George was a good guy. I have a lot of good memories with him in school, church, Boy Scouts, etc. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing.
