KENNETH E. MAGLONE, AGE 62

Kenneth E. Maglone, age 62, of Robinson, IL, died Tuesday November 17, 2015 at 6:00 AM at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL, following several months of failing health.

Born March 22, 1953 in Grayville, IN, he was the son of William Herbert and Bertha (Vearley) Maglone.  

Kenneth was employed as an over the road trucker for more than 30 years and owned and operated Independent Residential Services, Lawn Care and Landscaping, Olney, IL.  He enjoyed fishing and went to Michigan during the 2010 Salmon Run, near Whitehead, MI, and enjoyed a good catch.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Michael D. Maglone, Robinson, IL; Nicholas S. “Nick” Maglone, Robinson, IL; Tony and Alyssa Maglone, Olney, IL; daughter, Angela “Angie” Snyder, Terre Haute, IN; two grandchildren, Whitney Snyder and Mariah Snyder; longtime partner, Betsy Miller, Robinson, IL; a sister, Sandra “Sandy” Pinkston, Olney, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Herbert “Jack” Maglone; sisters, Nancy Witheim, Donna Dunlap, Deloris Black, Juanita Montgomery, Louise Thrall and Shirley Houser.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday November 21, 2015 from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 PM at the Scott Avenue Christian Church, 404 South Scott Avenue, Newton, IL, 62448.  All family and friends are invited to attend and join the family as they celebrate Kenneth’s life.
