I am so sad to hear about Jeannie. I have gotten to know her through the VFW Auxiliary and have to say, she is absolutely one of my favorite people! They just don't make them like her anymore! I am sorry for the loss you are all feeling right now and pray that you will feel the comfort of all who loved her surround you during this difficult time.

After looking at this photo of Jeannie, I realize now just how much each of you kids look like her in your own unique way. I have a memory embedded in my mind of her cute little head peeping above the steering wheel in that baby blue 'Cuda....what a doll! You kids hold tight to one another during this time...she would like that. There's no other person in your life like your mother, hold the memories close to your hearts. Love to each and every one of you. Sorry I can't be there with you Tuesday evening to lay this good woman to rest. Godspeed Jeannie

Kevin,
Being a fellow Rose Hill native, I know your mother came from great family roots. I'm sure she will be missed by all. Be comforted in knowing that being absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Your family will be in our prayers. Thank you for your friendship.
