MRS. ESTHER M. (FRANKLIN) OSBORN~COMBEE, AGE 84

Mrs. Esther M. (Franklin) Osborn~Combee, age 84, of Robinson, IL, formerly of Paris, TN, died Wednesday January 14, 2015 at 6:10 PM at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, IL following several months of declining health.

Born December 22, 1930 in Hutsonville, IL, she was the daughter of Emery and Ora (Sanders) Franklin.  December 1946 she married Ralph Eugene Osborn and he preceded her in death May 1951.  In 1952 she married Robert Luther Osborn who preceded her in death May 1968.  September 1977 she married Charles E. Combee and he preceded her in death December of 2008.  

Esther was a homemaker; factory worker for Kerr Glass, Plainfield, IL and also worked in an Ammunition Plant, Olin Matheson, Joliet, IL.  She was a member of the 1st Assembly of God church, Paris, TN.

Survivors include a son, Robert S. “Buck” Osborn, Robinson, IL; daughters and son-in-law, Martha and Jim Hightshoe, Hutsonville, IL; Peggy Dean, Springfield, TN; brothers and sister-in-law, Frank Franklin, Mason, MI; Ike and Jerri Franklin, West Terre Haute, IN; Joe Franklin, Hutsonville, IL; sister and brother-in-law, Cora and Sherman Weger, Robinson, IL; thirteen grandchildren; twenty eight great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Ralph Eugene Osborn; Robert Luther Osborn; Charles E. Combee; brothers, Herbert Franklin; Emery Franklin Jr; Dean Franklin; Tom Franklin; sister, Ann Benjamin; Euma Osborn; son-in-law, Robert “Bob” Dean; grandson, Anthony Osborn; step grandson, Ralph Brock; two brothers and a sister in infancy and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Sunday January 18th, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Hutsonville, IL, with Bro. Joe Griffith officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.  Burial in the Hutsonville Cemetery, Hutsonville, IL.

Memorial donations may be made to the Angelman Syndrome Foundation with envelopes available at the funeral home.

Dear Sweet Grams. You are very dearly missed By All who knew and Loved You. It's hard to believe your gone. It Broke my heart when I got the news yesterday that you had gained your Beautiful Angel Wings. You will always have a special place in all of our hearts. Fly High and Watch over all of us. You Where a Beautiful, Caring, Loving, Sweet and Amazing Woman Who Loved God and All of Your Family and Friends. And Now your a Beautiful Guardian Angel in Heaven watching over all of us. I wished We Could be there so I could say "See Ya Later" You Will always have a very Special Place in my Heart. You Have no idea how very much you meant to me.
