Shorty was my Sergeant in the Army in WWII and we continued to be friends over the years, meeting up at annual military Reunions. He was a very special friend who will be missed.

We got to know Shorty and his wife Bette thru the military reunions that we took my Dad Jack Paylor to each year. He was always uplifting and a true gentleman to be around. Our sympathies to the family, he will be missed.

I want to express my sincere sympathy for the loss of your loved one and share the hope promised in the Bible.
God has set a day in which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and he has furnished a guarantee to all men in that he has resurrected him from the dead. (Acts 17:31)
If your heart yearns to see a loved one again, study the Bible to make this resurrection hope your very own.

Shorty was one of our favorite guys of all time. So many memories that Bill and my Dad - Roger Evans and our sons have of Shorty and all the many many camping trips through their younger year. Shorty always had some funny story of one of our boys as he would remember those special times.
What an honor to remember Shorty especially on this Veterans Day.
God Bless Everyone in your family.

Sorry to hear about Shorty's passing. The Red Devils of the Society of the 5th Infantry Division will miss him at our reunions. I am sure he is reminiscing with his fellow 5th Division comrades that preceded him in this final adventure.

We were saddened to hear the news about Shorty Clements. I always will remember the Branson Reunion when Shorty and my son took part in the Ceremony of the Rose Presentation, Shorty carried out his duties honoring his fallen brothers in a way that made us so proud to have known such a great soldier and man. We offer our condolences to the Shorty Clements family. May this old soldier rest in peace.
