Randy was involved in various positions in youth baseball, attending Indianapolis Indian games, watching baseball, hockey, his fantastic baseball card collection especially of Dwight Gooden and he was very artistic in painting and detailing Hot Wheels cars and selling them. Randy’s love of baseball, music, friends, co-workers, family and life was contagious.

Preceding Randy in death were his father-in-law James Bland; paternal grandparents Delbert and Flo Reynolds and maternal grandparents William and Mary Calvert. Also preceding is Fletcher (the basset hound) a very special companion to Randy.

A Celebration of Randy’s Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Central Time Monday, June 30, 2014 at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL with Rev. Tom Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Bradbury Cemetery near West York, IL. Visitation will be Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Randy was a great father! I remember coming to one of Khristian's baseball games when he was in 5th grade and Randy looked so PROUD watching him play ball. We are right here in Avon if your family needs anything.

When I think about Randy I think about how much fun he was to be around. He always did his best at whatever it was he was doing and encouraged others to do the same. We had some wonderful times working together. It's not so often that your boss becomes your friend. He will be sorely missed. My deepest sympathies are with his family who are in my thoughts and prayers.
