SISTER ELAINE M. LEWIS, AGE 81

Sister Elaine M. Lewis, age 81, of Robinson, Illinois, died Thursday March 6, 2014 at her home in Robinson, Illinois.

Born November 13, 1932 in Lincoln, Nebraska she was the daughter of Joseph W. and Frances Marie (Wallace) Kiser.  On January 6, 1952 she married Rev. Chancey L. Lewis and he preceded her in death on December 12, 1975.

Sister Elaine was a minister with First Assembly of God Church, East Emmons Street, Robinson, Illinois and taught the International Sunday School Lesson on WTYE for 25 years.  She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Robinson, Illinois and the Crawford County Ministerial Association where she served as Treasurer/Secretary.

Survivors include daughters, Lesia Lewis, Robinson, Illinois; Gina and Mike Wagaman, Hutsonville, Illinois; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenny Bob and Jane Kiser, Danville, Illinois; Carl and Barbara Kiser, Terre Haute, Indiana; sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and Robert Harris, Terre Haute, Indiana; Evelyn and Dan Hobert, Mooresville, Indiana; Nadine Polland, Georgetown, Illinois; Joyce and Art Wood, Minnesota; Kathy and Cliff Farley, Rockville, Indiana; five grandchildren, Lindsey and Matt VanSchoyck, Robinson, Illinois; Emily and Joe Grazaitis, Edwardsville, Illinois; Sierra Renee Wagaman and boyfriend Garrett Pritts, Oblong, Illinois; Marissa Elaine Wagaman, Hutsonville, Illinois; Brandon Michael Wagaman, Hutsonville, Illinois; three great grandchildren Elaina VanSchoyck; Gunnar VanSchoyck;  Alesia Grazaitis and a great grandson to be born May of 2014, Gannon VanSchoyck.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Rev. Chancey L. Lewis; two children, Faith Elaine Lewis, January 4, 1956; Marvin LeRoy Lewis, June 21, 1957 and a brother David Kiser.

Funeral service will be Monday March 10, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, Illinois, with Rev. Clifford Farley officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday March 9, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, Illinois.  Burial will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Clinton, Indiana.  

Memorial donations may be made to the Elaine M. Lewis Memorial Fund to benefit Local Charities, with envelopes available at the funeral home.

Many memories from my early childhood of drives to Robinson from Franklin IN so mom and dad could visit with such a good friends. I have very early memories of attending church with them in Franklin. Prayers go out to the entire family and may God comfort you in your loss. Roberts family

Elaine was such a very special person to me. She helped shape me into the person I am today. I have so many wonderful memories with Elaine. I will continue to think of her often. The entire family is in my thoughts. I am sorry I cannot attend. I know she will be greatly missed.
