I would like to extend sympathy to the passing of Floyd. He was a great friend to my parents and an extended uncle to me as I grew up. There wasn't a time until last year that I did not see Floyd at Harmon's in the mid morning when I came up to visit from Houston. His cup was always half full, a smile on his face, and laughter over some of the things he experienced with my parents or my sister and I. I am sure mom and dad are greeting him and laughing about all the experiences that they shared over the many years. Last time I was in Oblong, I visited him over in Robinson and we laughed about the California road trip that we all took. He will be missed. Nan
