MR. LARRY L. BIRCH, AGE 75

Mr. Larry L. Birch, age 75, of Robinson, IL, died Wednesday December 4, 2013 at 10:30 PM at his Residence in Robinson, following many months of failing health.

Born July 17, 1938 in Robinson, IL, he was the son of Glen and Hazel (Kelm) Birch.  On August 10, 1956 he married Sandy (Vaughn) and she preceded him in death June 16, 2003.  On December 14, 2005 he married Betty (Brush) and she survives.

Larry retired in 2000 from Local 841 Operating Engineers, and was a member of the Highland Church of Christ, Robinson, IL.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Birch, Robinson, IL; son and daughter-in-law, David & Vicki Birch, Eaton, IL; daughter & son-in-law, Brenda & Tim Burk, St. Charles, MO; step-children, Brian Dunlap & C.J. Agan, Robinson, IL; Melissa Bunton, Robinson, IL; grandchildren and spouses, Daniel and Amanda Birch, Salem, IL; Lindell and Lindsey Albaugh, Decatur, AL; Nicole Osborn, Robinson, IL; step-grandchildren, David Glen Bunton; Brianna Dunlap; Cierra Dunlap, Robinson, IL; great-grandchildren, Ava Birch; Adrienne Birch; Lily Albaugh; Emma Albaugh; Andrew Osborn; Nathan Osborn;  brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Janie Birch, Hutsonville, IL; sister, Bonnie Boyles, Robinson, IL; sister-in-law, Sherry Wells, Robinson, IL along with several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Sandy Birch, 2003; a daughter, Jacqueline Hughes, 2008; brother, James Birch, 2004; infant sister, Mary DeLee, 1937; a stillborn sister; sisters, Trudy Pritchard, 1994; Nancy Newell, 1965 and Laurel Mendenhall, 1996.

Funeral service will be Saturday December 7, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL, with Pastor Shane Bopp officiating.  Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 PM until time of service at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine, IL.  

Memorial donations may be made to the Highland Church of Christ Building Fund or Oak Grove Cemetery Fund with envelopes available at the funeral home.

I am so sorry to hear about Larry. Wish I could have come up to funeral. Had some good times with my cousin. He will be very missed.

I am so very sorry for the sudden loss of Larry. So very heartbroken for you all. I send my condolences to you and your families. May God watch over you all during this time of enduring.
