DONALD R. DOVER, AGE 68

Donald R. Dover, age 68, of Hutsonville, IL, died Thursday October 10, 2013 at 8:59 PM at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL, following several months of failing health.

Born September 22, 1945 in Terre Haute, IN, he was the son of Corda Elza and Inez (Beaman) Dover.  He married Debra Ann (Stevens) and she preceded him in death December 19, 1990.  In 1992 he married Rebecca “Bekki” (Haws) Ogdon and she preceded him in death September 2, 2004.

Don was employed at the Manager of the Produce Department for the Great Scott Grocery Store in Terre Haute, IN and formerly owned and operated “Paws Inn” pet grooming and boarding in Robinson, IL.

Survivors include, step-daughters, Anne and Ken Dungbar, Shelbyville, IL; Cheryl Ogdon; Melissa Ogdon, Terre Haute, IN; step brother, Jamey Manhart; sister-in-law, Robin Prince, Crawfordsville, IN; brothers-in-law, Martin “Marty” Haws, Hutsonville, IL; Gregory and Brenda Stevens, Crawfordsville, IN; granddaughter, Karolyn Strayer, Sullivan, IN;  nephews, Thomas William Stevens, Crawfordsville, IN; David Chadwick Keith, Terre Haute, IN and a niece Misty Dawn Stevens, Crawfordsville, IN.

Preceding him in death were his parents; 1st wife, Debra Ann Stevens in 1990; 2nd wife, Rebecca “Bekki” (Haws) Dover in 2004; brother, John Dover in 1991; a niece Christina Marie George in 2005.

There will be a Memorial Service held Saturday November 16, 2013 at the Community Center in Hutsonville, Illinois.  

Memorial donations may be made to the Hutsonville Library Bekki Dover Memorial Fund with envelopes available at the community center at the time of the visitation and memorial service.
