Mrs. Patricia Mae “Pat” Mieure, age 66, of Robinson, Illinois, Died Friday March 8, 2013 at 7:50 am at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born November 14, 1946 in Myton, Utah, she was the daughter of Angus Wayne and Lilly Mae (Mott) Brown.  On April 19, 1962 she married Jerry Dee Mieure and he survives.  Pat was employed as a Security Guard for Stewart Security Services, Robinson Illinois and as a Press Operator for Victor Dana Corp., Robinson, Illinois.  

Her memberships include the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, Robinson, Illinois Branch; Legion Auxiliary Reavill Post #132, American Legion, Flat Rock, Illinois; Women’s Auxiliary, VFW Post #4549, Robinson, Illinois; Ladies Auxiliary, AMVETS Post #33, Palestine, Illinois and Fraternal order of Eagles, Aerie 3329, Palestine, Illinois.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry D. Mieure, Robinson, Illinois; a son and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Lori Mieure, Robinson, Illinois; daughters, Tammy Cherry, Robinson, Illinois, Sherri Thacker and Roger McDaniel, Robinson, Illinois; two step-sons, Terry Mieure, Allen, Texas and Brent Mieure, Garland, Texas; a brother, Rusty Wimmer, Salt Lake City, Utah; a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Rex Davis, Taylor, Arizona; sixteen grandchildren, Christen and Mike Crosley, Robinson, Illinois; Lindsay and Brandon Beck, Rochester, Illinois; Bonnie and Mauricio Herbas, Spartanburg, South Carolina; Beth and Travis Wells, Avon, Indiana; MaeCie and Johnny Schlomer, Vincennes, Indiana; Micayla and Rich Brooks, San Antonio, Texas; Nathan Cherry, Kerigan Cherry, Austin Weck, Payton Weck, Destinee’ Mieure, Desiree’ Mieure, all of Robinson, Illinois; Hanna Mieure, Lawrenceville, Illinois; Joey Campbell, Lawrenceville, Illinois; Brittney Campbell, US Navy; Brian Mieure, Garland, Texas; fourteen great-grandchildren, Alayna Durall, Olia Crosley, Bryce Crosley, Brennen Beck, Corbin Beck, A.J. Herbas, Dominic Wells, Ariana Wells, Abby Schlomer, Ayden Schlomer, Evan Drake, Jackson Brooks, Jackson McDaniel, Jacob McDaniel. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a sister, Elizabeth Goff and a brother Wayne Brown.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday March 12, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, Illinois with Branch President Dr. Fred Scott officiating.  Visitation will be Monday March 11, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, Illinois.  Burial will be in the Palestine City Cemetery, Palestine, Illinois.

Memorial donations may be made to the GINGERBREAD HOUSE Relay for Life Team/American Cancer Society with envelopes available at the funeral home.

Her sister Shirley is a good friend of mine in Taylor, AZ. I would like to express my condolences to her and to all of the family. It is hard to lose a loved one, but we know that we will see them again. I must say that beautiful women must run in the family. Love to all of you.
