Jamie P. Price, 37, Edwardsville, IL formerly Oblong, Illinois passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013, near Grayville, Illinois.

Born in Olney, Illinois on June 19, 1975, he was the son of Allen Ray Price and Paula Jane Puntney. He was employed as a property manager and landscaper, Edwardsville, Illinois; worked for Daybreak Landscaping; Price Construction; Price Properties LLC; M-P-30 Properties LLC; Grounds Manager for the Edwardsville School System for 7 years; he was a young entrepreneur and also purchased property to fix it up to resell it. He was of the Catholic faith. He was a member of 22 Motor Sports Racing Team; he drove Big 10 officials to games and was a personal driver for Ed Hightower. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his 9 year old daughter Regan; she was the absolute light of his life. He also loved spending time with Regan's siblings, Parker Synders, 4 months, Paige Synders, 3 years and twin brothers, Dylan & Clayton Synders, 9 years.

Jamie is survived by his father, Allen Price & Mary Beth Price, Oblong, Illinois; his mother, Paula Puntney-Price, Carmi, Illinois; a daughter, Regan Mallory Price, Edwardsville, Illinois; a sister and brother-in-law, Martha Price-Darr & Matthew Darr, Edwardsville, Illinois; grandmother, Reva Price, Crossville, Illinois; his girlfriend, Maureen "Mo" Posey, Edwardsville, Illinois; aunt, Mary Craig Puntney-Lowry, St. Louis, Missouri; uncle, Dan & Carolyn Price, Norris City, Illinois; and two cousins Derek Price, Norris City, Illinois and Kimberly Price, Los Angeles, California and former wife, Shanel Synders.

Jamie was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Price and grandparents, Paul & Patricia Puntney.

A Memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, January 21, 2013, at the First Christian Church, 206 North Range Street, Oblong, Illinois with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday. Jamie will be buried next to his beloved grandfather Jim Price at Ditney Ridge Cemetery, Norris City, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers an expression of sympathy may take the form of a contribution to the Juvenile Diabetes Association or Oblong Schools Academic Foundation as well as the Regan Price Educational Fund with envelopes at the church or may be mailed to Pulliam Funeral Home, P. O. Box 121, Oblong, Illinois 62449.
