Mrs. Elsie Mae Wilson-Marlin age 78, of Robinson, Illinois, died at her residence Friday January 21, 2011 at 12:48 PM following a period of declining health. She was born September 18, 1932 in Robinson, Illinois, the daughter of Jacob Alva and Ruby May (Higgins) Wilson. She worked as a Personnel Manager for K-MART stores in California and Maryland. She was a member of the Robinwood Assembly of God Church, Robinson, Illinois.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James T. and Linda Kay Marlin, Hixson, TN; daughter, Vicki Jean O'Neal, Hedgesville, WV; four grandchildren, Kathy T. Cagle, Deborah L. Hickman, Kristofor T. O'Neal, Michael K. O'Neal; five great-grandchildren, Whitney Hickman, Caleb P. O'Neal, Beckett H. O'Neal, Matthew G. O'Neal, Jack L. O'Neal; one Great-Great-Grandchild, Marshall Alexander; brothers and sister-in-laws, Ernest and Floy Wilson, Robinson, Illinois, Emerson and Kay Wilson, LaPorte, Indiana; sisters, Enid G. Williamson, Robinson, Illinois, Edna L. Montgomery, Robinson, Illinois, Esther L. Fear, Oblong, Illinois, Eleanor Kay Reynolds, Mahomet, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Phillip Gerry Marlin in 1983; son-in-law, Donald O'Neal, August 18, 2009; brother-in-laws, Lloyd Montgomery, 1999, Stanley Williamson, 1973, Larry Fear, 2009,and sister Eva Dale Wilson in 1937.

Visitation will be Monday January 24, 2011 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, Illinois with the funeral service at 1:00 pm. Glenn Parker and Pastor Jim Parks will be officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine, Illinois.
