Mrs. Rose Ella LaFever, age 88, Oblong, Illinois, died Sunday May 29, 2011 at the United Methodist Village, Lawrenceville, Illinois.

She was born March 13, 1923 in the Oblong Area, Crawford County, Illinois, the daughter of Carl Lloyd and Goldia "Goldie" Mae (Holt) Wormer. On August 29, 1941 she married Don Ercil LeFever and he preceded her in death November 3, 1980. She worked at Goldsmith's Clothing, Oblong, Illinois; and Crawford Memorial Hospital in Admissions, retiring in 1986; was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church, Oblong, Illinois; graduated from Oblong Township High School, Class of 1941; member of the Illini Prairie Quilt Club, Life Member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Marine, Illinois and she loved Quilting, Crocheting, Knitting, Ceramics, Painting and Flowers.

Survivors include, daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Jim Bowman, Annapolis, Illinois, Anita and Michael Catt, Robinson, IL, Rose Ann LaFever, Hardinville, IL; four Granddaughters, Gina and Bart Buettemeyer, Stoy, Illinois, Angie Catt, Robinson, Illinois, Lee Ann and Mike Rosborough, Hardinville, Illionois, Valerie and Brian Weck, Bloomington, Illinois; six great grandchildren, Megan Rosborough, Alyssa Rosborough, Ian Rosborough, Harper Weck, Caleb Buettemeyer, Ethan Buettemeyer; one niece, Susan and Gary Shipe, Florida; two nephews, John and Phyllis LeFever, Robinson, Illinois and Kent and Gail LeFever, Bement, Illinois. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; two sisters, Waneta Womer and Geneva LeFever; a brother-in-law, Rex LeFever and one niece, Carlene Russell.

Funeral services will be Thursday June 2, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Pulliam Funeral Home, Oblong, Illinois with Rev. Howard Bell officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Evangelical United Methodist Church, Oblong, Illinois, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
