Mr. Kenneth Tracy Sr., age 91, of Oblong, Illinois, died Friday August 5, 2011 at the Ridgeview Care Center, Oblong, Illinois. He was born October 30, 1919 in Annapolis, Illinois, the son of William W. and Lurrie (Goodwin) Tracy. On December 21, 1942 he married Eldiva Madge Randolph. He was employed by the Marshall Funeral Home; was a caster at Briggs Pottery in Robinson, Illinois; ran the Shell Station in Oblong, Illinois for many years and made pies with his wife "EL" for individuals and businesses; was a proud Army Veteran of World War II serving from 1942 to 1945 in the Third Army Serving under General George Patton. Ken enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Eldiva "EL' Tracy, Oblong, Illinois; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Pam Tracy Jr., Oblong, Illinois, Kelley and Susie Tracy, Oblong, Illinois, Kevin and Cindy Tracy, Oblong, Illinois, Kerry and Geneann Tracy, Brownsburg, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews and special friends at the Main Street Dine, Caseys and Ridgeview Care Center, all in Oblong, Illinois.

Funeral Services are Sunday August 7, 2011 at 2:30 pm at Pulliam Funeral Home, Oblong, Illinois, with Rev. Howard Bell officiating. Burial in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois. Visitation Sunday from Noon until the time of services at 2:30 pm at Pulliam Funeral Home, Oblong, Illinois. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital for Children either thru this website or with envelopes available at the funeral home.
