Life Legacy


Mrs. Elenora E. Hall, age 77 of Robinson, Illinois, died Tuesday September 6, 2011 at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Home, Robinson, Illinois, following a long period of declining health. She was born in Casey, Illinois on July 31, 1934, the daughter of George Frances and Elizabeth Clara (Lemming) McKinzie. On December 22, 1937 she married Jesse Warren Hall who preceded her in death October 20, 1992. Eleanora worked at Gallo's Red and White, Deli and Bakery, Robinson, Illinois; Senior Citizen Nutrition Center, Robinson, Illinois and Gabriel's Restaurant, Robinson, Illinois. She was a member of the Southside Christian Church, Robinson, Illinois and Crawford County Home Extension, Happy Homemakers Unit.

Survivors include, daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Benny Brumment, Sullivan, Indiana, Karen and Joel Hemrich, Robinson, Illinois, Amy Hall, Mattoon, Illinois; grandchildren, Elizabeth Lake, Terre Haute, Indiana, Kimberly Zakowski, Robinson, Illinois, David Hemrich, Terre Haute, Indiana; four great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death, her parents; husband; two brothers, Harold McKinzie, Richard McKinzie; four sisters, Margaret Mullen, Mary Connelly, Frances Kail and Ruth Babcock.

Funeral services will be Friday September 9, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, Illinois with Rev. John O'Dell officiating. Visitation will be Thursday September 8, 2011 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, Illinois. Burial will be in the Robinson New Cemetery, Robinson, Illinois. Memorial donations may be made to the Robinson Public Library or the Diabetes Support Group, Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
