Life Legacy


Mrs. Carolyn M. Rich, age 83, of Robinson, Illinois, died Thursday November 17, 2011 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois, following a long period of failing health. Born February 15, 1928 in Gallatin, Missouri, the daughter of Loren and Daisy Marie (Watson) Morrill. On December 21, 1950 she married Norman K. Rich and he survives. Carolyn was employed by Joy Reese Home Furnishings, Robinson, Illinois and was a homemaker; member of the 1st Christian Church, Gallatin, Missouri; Bridge Club at Quail Creek Country club, Robinson, Illinois and Charter Member of Oak Glenn Golf Course, Robinson, Illinois.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Norman K. Rich, Robinson, Illinois; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Keith Rich, Indianapolis, Indiana, Timothy L. and Greta Rich, Robinson, Illinois; grandchildren, Chad Rich, Ft. Worth, Texas, Lindsay Rich, Birmingham, Alabama; brother and sister-in-law, Jack Morrill and spouse, Breckenridge, Missouri, Rex Morrill, Sedalia, Missouri; sisters and brothers-in-law, Billie and Bob Spangler, Manilla, Iowa, Norma Lee Gilgore, Chilacothe, Missouri, Jana K. Potter, Molalla, Oregon and several nieces and nephews. she was preceded in her death by her parents.

Funeral services will be Tuesday November 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, Illinois with Rev. Louis Youngs officiating. Visitation is from noon until 2:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, Illinois. There will be a private family interment at a later date in the Oblong City Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois. Memorial donations may be made to Robinson Library District Foundation with envelopes available at the funeral home.
